St. Hubert High wins at National Cheerleading Championship

Cheering champs: St. Hubert High School won the Large Junior Varsity division at the recent National High School Cheerleading Championship. The competition, sponsored by the Universal Cheerleaders Association, took place on Feb. 7 at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports at Disney World. The Bambies prevailed in a field of 12 teams. It was their second national championship in a row. The squad is coached by Lisa McNesby, a 1995 St. Hubert graduate. The three other teams representing St. Hubert all had top-10 finishes in their divisions.
